Helen, who died suddenly in 1996, was one of Britain's most original artists and delighted in juxtaposition of objects with photography pivotal to her art.

Discovering Yorkshire's archaeology through imaging techniques. A photographic exhibition that looks at sites in depth with a third of the exhibition focusing on East Yorkshire.

Hands on History Museum

A new display of replica furniture from the tomb of Tutankamun and a mummy on loan from the British Museum. See her in all her glory.


The National Year of Reading
"Remembrance"

Various 80th anniversary of the Armistice. A collection of books about the 1st world war will be on display in some libraries. Hull Community Theatre will present an evening of readings and music about that era in selected libraries.

Developing Information Systems on the Internet

The first in a series of courses to be offered by the Hull Business School under a broad heading of "Developing Information Systems for the 21st Century". This course aims to provide participants with an introduction to the internet, the World Wide Web (WWW) and 'e-business'.

Harry Hudson Rodmell was a prolific artist and his world famous prints and drawings are shown, many for the first time.


Hofnote Music Academy
Time Lapse Tune

World Wide Web

A 700 year old tune arranged and performed in different styles across the ages by different performers. This is a community event devised by Christine Hough of the Hofnote Music Academy and anyone is welcome to take part. The final performances will be available on the Internet as part of the Hull City Council's Website at:
